A year ago we did portraits of this beautiful family, and this year they asked us back again.
In a word: smitten.
The Andersons are a treasure to us, and finding them was as likely as pulling a pearl out of a smelly oyster, or a diamond in a lump of black coal. Patrick met Mrs. Anderson during his coffee days, and from under the brim of his hat he convinced her that he was legit across the drive thru.
Last year I was uninvolved in their shoot, but I remember that Patrick came home anxious to show me how all of them were dressed: frothy tulle, smart corduroy blazers, and layers of colorful fabric on mom that made me believe she had stepped right out of my closet. Again, the effort they gave in the wardrobe department is overwhelming: a tulle dress for the young lady, hats for the boys, a wooden bow tie for dad, and killer boots for mom. Confection perfection.
So we will try not to drown you in images, but we do hope you enjoy peering into this shoot. If life was a game, and the Andersons were a team, we would undoubtedly be their #1 fans. They aren't just "good" people, they are exquisite.
