Greetings Amanda,
Firstly, I have two big thank you’s to deliver to you. Number One, it’s Joy. It was absolutely wonderful to meet and work with her. I can’t explain to you in under 15 minutes how much I appreciate her attitude and composure, amongst numerous other top qualities. Number Two involves you, with your innocent yet purposeful, “What are these pictures for?” At that moment, the answer was, well, I do not know the answer to this particular version of the process and what are we doing with these photos. Thanks…?
Which has of course, led us here. But, before I attempt to recruit you to participate in this project’s focus group, let’s knock out the photos themselves. The photos can be found here: https://www.texturalacuity.com/joy. The password to enter is “Merry” and will allow you to enter and download any and all photos. Simply look for the menu dropdown from any photo, click it, click download, and select “Original” for the particular photo on screen or “All available originals” to download the entire gallery, which can be done from any photo.. If you have any issues you can send me a text on my cell at 843.367.1722. All photos are full size, full resolution, exactly what I would personally print with.
As for my usage, I did not have you fill out a Model Release for Joy, so nothing will be hitting the internet, social media, website airwaves.
Thank you and Joy again for the opportunity. And with that, let the impromptu focus grouping, well, focus group.
The basics of the day are as follows. Rachel happened to see Joy’s demeanor after her haircut when she saw me drive up, and so decided to ask Joy for a spur of the moment photo session. Obviously you gave your blessing, and we shot for 19 minutes. After culling and editing, then culling again, we’ve got the picture down below, a blend of client and stylist focused photos. FYI, the pictures at the link above are full-size, the ones below are small but high resolution. Do you want to use anything for social media? Feel free to just pull photos from this page and use the other link for proper printing.
So the thought process behind it is, can the serendipitous meeting actually lead to a service that somebody would want? And that if you don’t mind, I would love your thoughts on the following sets of questions based on the photos received, and the process to get them.
