I imagine that a woman like this needs no introduction....
I don't expect that everyone knows her, although many of you do.
And if you don't know her, I expect that you might someday.
I am happy to say that she is my friend, and perhaps even my favorite.
I imagine us tromping around the woods as kids: her welcoming the mud in between her toes, and me going "Ew, ew, ew, ew!"
And that Monday was not all that entirely different. She was barefooted and muddy: seed pods collecting in the billows of her skirt. She was, conversely, perfectly feminine.
She was who she is: a superbly curated collection of talent, purpose, justice, love, and just about any other admirable quality those who know her want to throw in there. The girl just... is.
