a single shot portrait session with dara
Every once and awhile Rachel (IG)comes across a dress or article of clothing which demands a photoshoot. Ok, if I am honest, we have a whole closet of items that she has accumulated that demand a photoshoot, but, the timing of life, family, business and such don’t always allow for it. Couple that with the demands of finding a model who fits said clothing item and coordinating our lives with theirs, it can get complicated at times. However, Rachel does have the advantage of working many beautiful and charming ladies at Salon Surreal (IG), and lo and behold, we were able to coordinate some time with Dara (IG) who was extremely giving with her time for the shoot.
The following photo sets follow along with our travels through local Evans spots. We started with a little get to know you right outside the salon in front of Goolsby’s utilizing their furniture and strip mall background. Quickly follow that up with a little trespassing (it was quick I promise!) at a local retirement home, across the street to a bank and it’s parking lot, ending up the session at another, well, bank and it’s parking lot with the prerequisite dumpster shots included because you know me, I take the ladies to the classy places. Hmm, maybe what I thought was an inadvertent use of the middle finger was a little bit more than I originally thought? Joking of course (or am I?), Dara was absolutely wonderful to work with and we truly appreciate the time she took out of her busy schedule that day to come and play with us.
